The Margaree River system, famous for its wild salmon fishing, is only a 5-minute drive north. Inverness, one of the larger towns on the coast and home to the Cabot golf courses, is a 20-minute drive south. 30-minutes north is the entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
