This large beautiful home is situated on just over 3/4 of an acre looking at Lake Ainslie. Large trees frame the views to the western sky for sunsets.
The house was built in 1971 and has been extensively renovated and enlarged since then, primarily in 1999 with the addition of the great room with its wall of windows facing the lake. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and another in the walk-out lower level.
Measuring 26 x 50 (not including the great room) the main floor now has over 1,500 sq ft of living space.
Total finished living space is around 1,800 sq ft counting the bathroom and large bedroom in the walk-out lower level. Much of the rest of this floor has been currently used only for storage, but could become even more living space. Also on this level is inside access to the garage (11 x 24) at one end. Under the great room is a spacious semi-outdoor sitting area.
Polytech windows were installed in the 1990's and a high-end metal tile roof in 2010. Inside there is beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the main level, and the large stone fireplace now has a propane insert. More heat sources include 2 heat pumps, electric baseboards, and a pellet stove in the lower level. There are also two air conditioning units.
A paved driveway leads to a convenient carport with brick arches.
