InvernessProperties.ca is the website of Paul Vincent-Smith, Leslie Freeman and Nina Seybolt, realtors with the brokerage Inverness Properties Ltd.
Leslie was born and bred in Inverness. Her mother owned a gift/craft shop, The Bear Paw, and her father owned the drugstore in Inverness – Freeman’s Pharmacy - for over 30 years. She has been licensed in real estate for over 25 years, and during that time she and Paul have raised four children here; great school, great hospital, great community.
Paul is an import, a come-from-away, from England via Toronto, a lifetime ago. He knows what it is to move to the Inverness area, look for property and build a house, and be a summer resident for many years. He has some construction experience, but primarily wants to be a gardener when he grows up.
Nina is also a CFA, originally from the Boston area. She fell in love with Cape Breton in 1987, walking across the ice-pack in Cheticamp Harbour! After living in Halifax, she was finally able to move here in 2002. She has some previous experience working in real estate in the US, and says "the appeal of this business for me has always been about people, and working with them to find the right situation. I feel fortunate to be part of the Inverness County community."
We operate in Inverness County – the west side of Cape Breton – exclusively. For buyers/sellers of real estate elsewhere we will refer you to someone local: we don’t believe we can give the kind of service you should expect if we’re outside our area of expertise.
