The entrance to this huge parcel of land is across the highway from the road into Chimney Corner beach. The property has a road through it and some small areas of cleared land, meadows - remnants of the homestead that was once here. Otherwise it is a tract of forested land, largely hardwood, with some spruce here and there.

Location
In some ways a ‘back country’ property (depending where one would choose to build on the site) in terms of going places it is not remote at all, and has easy access to the entire west coast of Cape Breton. Margaree Harbour is 5 miles north, beyond that lies Cheticamp and the National Park. Inverness lies 13 miles south, with Mabou and Port Hood after that.
Chimney Corner beach right next door has become a big attraction.
